We have extensive experience in repairing Clothes Dryers. Sometimes the problems are simple to solve.
If the dryer is not working, first see if the door is closed. Unplug your dryer and wait until it cools down. Check the correct working of the outlet if possible. If you have a dryer with a 110 volt cord, you can test it working by plugging in a small appliance to see if it functions.
If the small appliance works in the outlet where the Dryer was plugged, then you know the problem is in the Dryer, not the power supply. You should also check the circuit breakers to determine if they show "on." Then you should restart your dryer. Most of the models have the reset button on the control panel. If drying takes more time then usual, you should check the lint filter and see if the vent hose might be clogged. The abundance of lint can be the cause of your dryer not drying, even if you can sense the dryer getting hot. If the vent hose needs cleaning please call us with the approximate length of hose from dryer to outside wall. Also, if the hose has become dislodged or broken it would have to be reconnected or replaced. For any problem you are having with your Clothes Dryer, please call us!
